Scott Franklin

Co-founder and manager of DanceWorks Studio, Scott received his first formal training in dance at the State University of N.Y at Brockport. There he studied a wide variety of dance styles including African, Brazilian, Ballroom and modern jazz. He performed extensively with the University's travelling dance troupe "Dancescore". After graduation Scott began his teaching career in ballroom dancing in Las Vegas. Vegas was the place where Scott discovered "Salsa" which would become his teaching specialty.

Years later Scott was recruited to the Northwest where he met Suzanna Persa. Several months later the two embarked on a quest for a studio of their own. DanceWorks was born.
